Andrew Cahill is a Managing Director (Special Situations) of TrueNorth Capital Partners LLC. As a part of this practice group, Andy will focus on distressed and turnaround situations. Andy has over 36 years of business experience in structuring, negotiating, packaging, and executing highly profitable middle and small market transactions in diverse industries. He has significant experience in special situation/private equity/investment banking, including the acquisition of non-performing loans, managing private equity principal investments and private placements, public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, financial restructurings, corporate strategic planning/implementation.
Prior to joining TrueNorth, Andy was a Managing Director at First City Crestone, LLC, a Special Situations investment platform that provided capital solutions for distressed and turnaround situations; Vice President, Regulatory & Compliance at Ironshore Holdings (US), Inc. a start-up Property & Casualty Insurance Company; Managing Director of Stone Pine Investment Banking, LLC, a privately owned investment banking firm engaged in private equity investments and financial advisory services; Managing Director-Investment Banking of Laidlaw Holdings, Inc., originating and managing initial public offerings and private placements for corporations in multiple industries. Andy received a BS in Accounting from Villanova University and an MBA in Finance from Fordham University.
