Gregory Tartaglino

Gregory Tartaglino joined Scout Valuations LLC as a Senior Associate in January 2019. Greg provides analysis and support for valuations related to business planning and succession, shareholder disputes, buy/sell agreements, financial reporting, mergers and acquisitions, gifting interests, estate planning, taxation, matrimonial dissolutions, restructuring and reorganizations and litigation support services. Throughout his career, Greg has provided hundreds of valuations to clients across a variety of industries and purposes. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in the State of Connecticut and Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV).

Prior to joining Scout Valuations, Greg was a Senior Associate in the Litigation Services and Business Valuation Group at BlumShapiro. Greg provided valuation services to a wide variety of private and closely-held businesses, for purposes such as preparing them for litigation procedures, estate and gift taxes, corporate restructuring, commercial litigation, and business and marriage dissolutions.

Prior to joining BlumShapiro, Greg worked at CohnReznick, where he developed an extensive understanding of analysis techniques and fundamental approaches while working in a range of areas including business valuations, real estate taxation, financial modeling of renewable energy projects, and taxation of high net-worth individuals.

Greg is also a founding member of the Connecticut Financial Advisory Council. The organization was developed with the purpose of promoting the growth of young professionals in the greater Hartford area through relationship building and sharing of ideas. Greg currently serves as the chairman of the content committee.
