Nick Chapman

Nicholas Chapman is a Managing Director of TrueNorth Capital Partners LLC. As such, he participates in all phases of an assignment, from deal generation and relationship management through evaluation of bids and negotiation of terms. Nick serves as lead banker or co-manager on various corporate advisory assignments, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, valuations and refinancing and capital placements. His career has focused on middle market transactions across a broad spectrum of industries, with clients including multinational public companies and their subsidiaries, institutional investors’ portfolio companies and family-owned enterprises, both domestic and international.

Prior to joining TrueNorth Capital Partners, Nick was a Director of Knox & Co., a boutique middle market investment banking firm, focused on cross-border transactions for global multinationals in Asia and which enjoyed a strategic alliance with Mitsubishi UFJ Securities Co. His earlier investment banking experience was gained at Pall Mall Capital, Inc., and its predecessor, Dunn Johnston & Co., where he spent twelve years and had responsibility for managing or assisting on numerous trans-Atlantic middle market investment banking assignments, primarily for European based clients.

Nick holds the Series 7, 24, 63, 79 and 99 securities licenses. He earned an MBA in Finance and International Business from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University, and his undergraduate degree from Duke University.
