Paul Nowak

Paul Nowak is a Managing Director at TrueNorth Capital Partners. Paul focuses on advising middle-market companies on mergers and acquisitions, capital formation, and strategic transactions. He works closely with founders, family-owned businesses, and private equity-backed companies across the environmental services, infrastructure services, and specialty industrial sectors.

Paul has originated and executed dozens of transactions representing billions of dollars in aggregate value. His experience includes sell-side transactions, strategic buy-side acquisitions, recapitalizations, and growth capital financings. He has developed deep expertise in the environmental services industry, including solid waste management, industrial and hazardous waste treatment and disposal, water and wastewater services, recycling technologies, and remediation. In addition to this sector specialization, he has worked with companies across a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, technology, energy, insurance, communications, healthcare, retail, and security services.

Prior to joining TrueNorth Capital Partners, Paul was a Managing Director at Cronus Partners. He previously held senior investment banking roles at Wunderlich Securities, Madison Williams and Company, Sanders Morris Harris, and was a member of Smith Barney’s Mergers & Acquisitions and Advisory Groups.

Paul earned a B.S. from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia and holds Series 7, 63, and 79 securities licenses.
