July 26, 2014 TrueNorth News

Stamford, CT, July 2014 – TrueNorth Capital Partners LLC is pleased to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary, TNCP, LLC acted as financial advisor to Coltsville Redevelopment Company LLC, the property developer, in connection with the refinance of its senior debt facilities on the iconic Coltsville property located in Hartford Connecticut. The property was once the home of Samuel Colt’s famous firearms headquarters and manufacturing plant and currently stands as one of the most historic properties in the State of Connecticut.

This 17 acre campus comprises 630,000 square feet in 10 buildings. This mixed use property now accommodates commercial, residential and retail tenants. It is proud to have as one of its tenants the Capital Region Education Council (CREC) charter school featuring its nationally recognized Autism Program.

Funding was provided by United Bank’s Glastonbury Connecticut office. The investor partner to the property, Chevron TCI, Inc., and the property developer plan to use the proceeds to repay existing debt on the property. Excess funding from the refinancing will be used to complete the residential apartments located in the South Armory building and further improvement of the grounds.

Jeff Gaynor, lead banker for TrueNorth commented …”in the four years I have been involved with Coltsville the transformation of this Campus has been remarkable. We credit Larry Dooley and Chevron TCI for their commitment and the City and the State’s Department of Economic and Community Development for their support throughout. We are proud to be involved in a project that enhances the City of Hartford and the State of Connecticut”.
