TrueNorth Managing Director named to Board of The Turnaround Management Association

Norwalk, CT, December 15, 2011 – TrueNorth Capital Partners LLC (“TrueNorth”) is pleased to announce that Mr. Jeffrey Gaynor, Managing Director and founder of TrueNorth, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the New York Chapter of The Turnaround Management Association (“TMA”). Mr. Gaynor will serve on the Education Committee in 2012. Mr. Gaynor has been an active member of TMA for close to twenty years. He served on the Board of the Connecticut Chapter for more than ten years and earned his Certified Turnaround Professional designation in 1994. The Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP) designation was introduced by the TMA in 1993 as an objective measure of the experience, knowledge and integrity that is necessary to conduct corporate renewal work.

The Turnaround Management Association (TMA) is the only international non-profit association dedicated to corporate renewal and turnaround management. Established in 1988, the TMA has more than 9,000 members in 48 chapters, including 32 in North America and one each in Australia, Brazil, China (Hong Kong), the Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Southern Africa, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan and the United Kingdom, with a chapter in formation in Romania.
